PT Daiki Axis Indonesia specializes in wastewater treatment solutions, focusing on sewage treatment plants (STP). The company is a subsidiary of Daiki Axis Co., Ltd., headquartered in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. Originally established In 1998 as PT. The JOHKASOU STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) is a high-quality product that uses gravity flow and small blowers to constantly treat water. The system separates solid and liquid waste based on gravity and uses anaerobic media for the growth of microorganisms that decompose organic matter in domestic wastewater. The moving bed chamber is filled with moving bed media that is aerated by a blower, occupying 40-50% of the volume. Disinfectants are used as sterilizing agents to kill pathogenic microorganisms in the treated water before it is discharged into the environment. The sedimentation and circulation chambers allow for the reuse of water, undergoing several treatments before the water is sent to the second anaerobic chamber for denitrification.

Daiki Axis adheres to the regulations set forth by the Johkasou Act, including proper installation of STPs. This includes the installation of Johkasou, approval of Johkasou models, operation and maintenance of Johkasou, Johkasou business for installation and operation, and the use of nationally certified Johkasou technicians. The factory has a capacity of 2,400 units per year and installed more than 350 JOHKASOU units in 2022.

However, it is important to note that improper use of JOHKASOU can lead to reduced performance, higher operational costs, and misunderstandings about the product in Sri Lanka. It is crucial to follow the regulations established by the Johkasou Act and avoid misuse to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
